FCCBikeWorks & YouthBuild welcomed spring with a services and skills swap.
YouthBuild donated a 250 gallon water collection tank to drain the water off the roofs, and its environmental education class students came by to install it. Looking forward to flowers, not flooding, in the courtyard!
FCCBikeWorks donated 4 bikes to YouthBuild for student use on its downtown campus, and our volunteer mechanic Seth Short led a workshop for YouthBuild Community Engagement students on the basics of bike maintenance. Now those YouthBuild bikers can hold their own!
Spring has sprung!
